The toolkit

Pick the job you need doing

Ten tools, each built to do one thing properly rather than everything at once.

How it works

Three steps, a few seconds

  1. Open a tool

No sign-up, no install, no extension. Every tool is one page that works the moment it loads.

  2. Drop in your file

Your browser reads it straight from your device. There is no upload step, so nothing to wait for.

  3. Save the result

Download the finished file, or copy the values you came for.

Why it is instant

There is no server in the way

Most online tools upload your file, process it somewhere else, and send it back. That is what makes them slow, and it is why they need limits on file size and count.

SnapView does the work on your own device, using the same graphics engine that renders this page. That removes the upload wait, the queue and the file limits at the same time — and it means your file is never transmitted anywhere.

You can check that rather than trust it: load any tool, disconnect from the internet, and use it. Everything still works.

Questions

Things people ask

Is it really free, with no limits?

Yes. All ten tools are free with no file count limit, no size cap, no trial and no premium tier. Because the work happens on your device rather than ours, there is no per-file cost to us and therefore no reason to ration it.

The site is supported by advertising.

Why is it faster than other online tools?

There is no upload and no download. A typical online compressor sends your file to a server, waits in a queue, processes it, then sends it back. SnapView skips all three steps because the processing happens where the file already is.

For a large photo that is often the difference between thirty seconds and under one.

Are my files private?

Yes, and you can verify it rather than take our word for it. Load any tool page, disconnect from the internet, then use the tool. It will work normally.

A tool that uploaded your file could not function without a connection.

What file types are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF for images, and MP4, WebM and usually MOV for video. These are whatever your browser can decode natively.

HEIC photos from an iPhone and camera RAW files cannot be opened by browsers at all. Converting to JPEG first will solve it.

Will these work on my phone?

Yes. Every tool works in mobile Safari and Chrome. Very large video files can be slower on older phones, since the work happens on your device rather than a server.

Why is there no Instagram or TikTok downloader?

We removed those. Fetching media from a social platform needs a server that talks to that platform, which means a real running cost, a legal grey area, and a service that breaks every few weeks when the platform changes something.

Ten tools that work reliably is a better product than eleven that fail half the time.

Ten tools, nothing to sign up for

Pick one and it works straight away.

Every SnapView tool runs inside your browser. Files you open here are read by your own device and are never uploaded, stored or transmitted anywhere. You can disconnect from the internet after this page loads and the tools will still work — which is the simplest way to verify that claim for yourself.
