The short version: there is no account, we do not build a download history, and four of our tools never send your files anywhere at all.

- No account data. There is no sign-up, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.
- No download history. We do not build a record of what any individual has downloaded.
- No stored media. Files pass through and are never saved on our systems.
- No social media credentials. We never ask for your platform password, and no tool here requires one.
- No data sales. We do not sell, rent or trade information to third parties.
What we do process
Links you submit
When you paste a link, it is sent to our server so the media can be retrieved. Links may be cached briefly — typically a few minutes — to reduce load and speed up repeat requests. Cached entries are not associated with any individual and expire automatically.
Technical request data
Like any website, our servers record standard request information: IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. This is used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, security and diagnostics. It is retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
Analytics
We use analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which tools are used, which pages people land on, roughly where visitors come from. This is reported in aggregate and is not used to identify individuals.
The browser-based tools send nothing. The Video File Inspector, Image Format Converter, Aspect Ratio Calculator and File Size Estimator run entirely inside your browser.
Files you use with them are read locally and never transmitted. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and they will still work — that is the simplest way to verify the claim yourself.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies for security and rate limiting. These are necessary for the site to function and cannot be disabled without breaking it.
Where advertising is displayed, third-party advertising partners may set their own cookies to measure performance and limit repetition. These are governed by the privacy policies of those partners. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and most advertising cookies can be opted out of through your device or browser privacy controls.
Third parties we rely on
We use a content delivery network and security provider to keep the site fast and to absorb abusive traffic. We use hosting and analytics providers. These services process technical request data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not share submitted links or any file content with advertising partners.
Children
SnapView is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU and UK, and the CCPA in California — you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.
Because we deliberately hold so little, in most cases there is no personal data associated with you to retrieve or erase. Where there is, we will act on a verified request within the timeframe your local law requires.

Data retention
Cached links expire within minutes. Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then deleted. Aggregate analytics are retained in non-identifying form. We do not maintain long-term records tied to individuals.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
